My general areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Robotics, and Cognitive Science.
I am currently working on: 1) a sensor-to-symbol architecture for robust reasoning; 2) a head mounted sensor system for the visually impaired; 3) a commercial camera/pan-tilt system for leader folowing and gesture recognition; 4) a stereo/thermal sensor for 3D obstacle categorization in dark environments.
